We can help you access emergency contraception quickly and easily. Please ask in-store about the available medication and pricing details.
How Does Our Morning-After Pill Service Work?
- Speak to Our Pharmacist: Simply approach a member of our pharmacy team and let them know you need the morning-after pill.
- Confidential Consultation: Our pharmacist will ask you a few questions to ensure the morning-after pill is suitable for you. This involves completing a brief questionnaire about your medical history and recent sexual activity.
- Receive Your Medication: If the morning-after pill is appropriate, we'll provide you with the medication and explain how to take it. If it's not suitable, the pharmacist will sign-post you to an appropriate healthcare professional, where possible.
Your Options for Emergency Contraception
We offer two types of morning-after pills without a prescription:
- Levonelle One Step: Effective if taken within 72 hours (3 days) of unprotected sex.
- EllaOne: Effective if taken within 120 hours (5 days) of unprotected sex.
Our pharmacist will discuss the best option for you based on your circumstances.
Important Information
- Not Regular Contraception: The morning-after pill is for emergency use only and should not be used as a regular method of birth control.
- Time Sensitivity: The sooner you take the morning-after pill, the more effective it will be.
